Under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, every employer and duty-holder has to keep electrical systems safe and be able to prove it. Insurers, fire risk assessors and auditors all ask the same question: where's the certificate, and is it in date?
We answer that question for single premises and for portfolios of fifty sites. Inspection and testing is our core business, remedials are completed by our own engineers, and every certificate, register and logbook is organised per site so nothing lapses unnoticed.

Good questions we hear a lot
How often does a commercial premises need fixed wire testing?
BS 7671 guidance is typically every five years for offices, shops and most commercial premises, and more frequently for higher-risk environments such as industrial units, kitchens, swimming pools and some public buildings. Your insurer or a fire risk assessment may set a shorter interval. We'll recommend the right cycle for each site and track it for you.
Can you take over a portfolio mid-cycle?
Yes. Send us whatever certificates and registers you hold and we'll build a schedule from the existing expiry dates, fill the gaps and pick up remedials from previous reports — even if they were issued by another contractor.
Can testing be done without closing the site?
In most cases. Fixed wire testing requires circuits to be isolated, so we phase the work by area and by time — evenings, weekends or one distribution board at a time — agreed with you in advance so the operation keeps running.
What do we actually receive?
For each site: the EICR or other certificate, a plain-English summary of any observations with photographs, a remedial quotation if one is needed, and updated registers or logbooks. Across a portfolio you also get a consolidated schedule showing what's due when.
